Dear Friends,
I am very honored to have been selected as the Arthritis Foundation’s Medical Honoree for their upcoming Jingle Bell Run. Today I’m asking you to support the Arthritis Foundation, a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to education and research that will lead to better treatments and one day a cure for arthritis. I believe that supporting the Arthritis Foundation is an important way to ensure research continues and that a cure is in the near future.
Nationally, the Arthritis Foundation is the leading organization working to find a cure for this debilitating disease. Locally, they are committed to providing research funding, help and support, advocacy and Juvenile Arthritis support. People with arthritis face unique barriers to care: high costs of treatment, difficulty accessing medications, scarcity of specialists and coinsurance that limits access to treatment. Through your commitment, we are able to accomplish the following:
—IMPACT —
- Research for better treatment options and a cure.
- Advocacy efforts for access to optimal care and game-changing medicine.
- Help and Support to inform, empower, and educate arthritis patients and those who care for them.
- Juvenile Arthritis support, ensuring easy access to life-changing resources, community and care.
- Community and Connections to help individuals and families with arthritis form meaningful connections and find ways to give back – getting the support they need while supporting others.
You can support my efforts to help the Arthritis Foundation by:
